Soooo we're back from Italy & I know it ain't Italian gelato (which I did learn how to make in Rome but that's for another time) but I bring to you my first homemade ice cream!
I honestly never realized how easy it is to make ice cream guys.
Like you just mix a bunch of things in a bowl & freeze it...or you can get like a complicated ice cream machine & what not but whatevs.
As you read in the title, this ice cream is caramel macchiato flavor because I'm obsessed with vanilla, coffee & caramel so why not include them all in one dessert?!
No reason...so I did just that & it was wonderful.
You know those caramel macchiato coffee creamers that don't actually taste anything like a true Starbucks' caramel macchiato? This is not that...this actually has the flavor of an ice caramel macchiato drink from Starbucks!
Oh also did I mention this is incredibly easy to make? cuz it is & I know pumpkin spiced lattes are out already but likeeee it's 90F outside today so yeah keep eating ice cream, it ain't fall yet.

CARAMEL MACCHIATO NO CHURN ICE CREAM
INGREDIENTS
2 cups heavy cream
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla
1-2 shot of espresso (or 1-2 tsp. espresso powder with 1-2 tbsp. water)
caramel
DIRECTIONS
Begin with making your shot of espresso so it can cool a bit before you're ready to use it. If you're making it with the powder, heat up the water & mix it with the powder.
Using an electric mixer or stand mixer, beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Fold in sweetened condensed milk & vanilla.
Separate mixture in half into two separate bowls.
Leave one vanilla & fold your espresso into the other one.
Alternate pouring vanilla & coffee ice cream into a pan & intermittently (generously) swirl caramel.
Once you're done just take a knife & drag it through a few times vertically & horizontally to create a nice swirl.
Freeze for a few hours, best if overnight.
Eat like no one is watching!

Guys. I would've really like to enjoy this ice cream a little more but my dad ate it all... guess I'll just have to make it again huh?! #noragrets
Anyways I am so excited to start making fall desserts but I sort of feel at a loss for inspiration/creativity so if you have any ideas, shoot them my way <3
I hope you all enjoy this wonderful concoction of dairy & have a blessed day ! As always,
Love, B
